Tabal finished strong at 1:19:37, Maglinao at 1:13:44, and Sabal at 1:14:37.

For 1st placer, both Tabal and Maglinao will receive Php20,000 while Sabal will get Php10,000 for bagging the 3rd place.
Philippine Seven Corporation sent the runners to join the 2014 Seoul Race by being among the top Filipino finishers of its 7-Eleven RUN 1000 held last January 2014 at CAVITEX in celebration of 7-Eleven’s 1000th store in the Philippines. That event had attracted close to 18,000 runners.
7-Eleven Philippines together with the support of its Run 1000 sponsors paid for all expenses of the winners in the 2014 Seoul Race.
Tabal thanked 7-Eleven for the opportunity. The 2014 Seoul Race was her third international race right after Paris and Japan.
“I really wanted to participate in running competitions to improve my skills. I will always remember this unforgettable moment of winning in the 2014 Seoul Race and I was also able to enjoy and see the atmosphere of Seoul,” Tabal said.
For Maglinao’s part, he said he will leave Korea with wonderful memories. “I really thank 7-Eleven for this and I will participate in Korea’s high-level competition again next year.”
The local convenient store giant has been sending winning runners to international marathons for the past two years. The 7-Eleven RUN Series started in 2012 with RUN 800. In December 2013, 7-Eleven Philippines sponsored the RUN 800 Filipino winners to Angkor Wat International Marathon in Siem Reap, Cambodia where Janette Agura won second place. The RUN 1000 then followed suit early this year.
Next year, 7-Eleven will be hosting 7-Eleven RUN 1500 scheduled for March 15, 2015. This time, participants will have the option to enjoy a full marathon 42KM race.
Last January’s 7-Eleven Philippines Run 1000 was supported by Selecta Ice Cream, Pocari Sweat, Summit Water, Gatorade, Powerade ION, 7–Connect, Aseana City, and AirAsia Zest in cooperation with CAVITEX, Solar Sports, Solar News Channel, and Philippine Daily Inquirer.
